In this day and age, an increasing number of professionals and consumers (myself included), have become more and more concerned over the ingredients in our skin-care products. With so much information at our fingertips, it9s hard not to. I have developed the habit of immediately checking every skin-care product before I buy it to see if it has parabens (unwanted preservatives). I know I am not alone in this, and the industry is moving in the same direction.
Our growing heath concerns over the components in the products we are using on our skin, our clients, and family have fostered a huge growth in consumption of organic products and services, organic spas, wellness centers, holistic locations, and yoga studios. More and more products and product lines are removing the parabens and going more natural, because the demand is there. New natural based product lines are developing at a higher rate than ever before… Nails polishes (new and existing) are now becoming 3-Free (free of Dibutyl Phthalate, Formaldehyde, Toluene)…
Why? Because that is what we have learned is better for you, and the safety of the products we are using is important to all of us! Aside from the heath benefits, in order to grow your business in an already cluttered market, the services you provide have to match the demand.
As the growing market and demand for organic and natural based products continues, will more and more existing spas change to be organic as well? Have you?
